Transfer of Shares to IEPF Account

Pursuant to the provisions of Section 124(5) of the Companies Act, 2013 and the Investor Education and Protection Fund Authority (Accounting, Audit, Transfer and Refund) Rules, 2016 (IEPF Rules, 2016), as amended from time to time, any dividend remaining unpaid/unclaimed for a period of 7 (seven) consecutive years is required to be transferred by the Company to the Investor Education and Protection Fund (IEPF) established by the Central Government.

Further, pursuant to Section 124(6) of the Companies Act, 2013, and IEPF Rules, 2016, all shares in respect of which dividend has not been paid or claimed for seven consecutive years or more, shall also be transferred to IEPF Account.

Therefore, the shareholders who have not received/claimed/encashed dividends declared by the Company, are requested to lodge their claims with the RTA/Company to ensure that unclaimed/unpaid dividend amount and shares are not transferred to the IEPF Account.

Claim from the Investor Education and Protection Fund Authority

The members may claim their shares and/or refund of their dividend from the Investor Education and Protection Fund (IEPF) Authority by following the procedure prescribed under the IEPF Authority (Accounting, Audit, Transfer and Refund) Rules, 2016 (IEPF Rules).
